LEONA REMPEL Nov 1, 1926 July 18, 2011 Peacefully on July 18, 2011, Leona passed away at the Morris General Hospital, at the age of 84. She will be loved forever and will be missed greatly by her husband Ben L. Rempel of 65 years; two sons and three daughters: Joceline Rempel, Rosenort, MB; Diane (Rick Bartel), Riding Mountain, MB; Duane (Arlene Rempel), Rosenort, MB; Maynard Rempel, Rosenort, MB; and Charlene Rempel, Rosenort, MB; daughter-in-law Debbie Chouinard, Sexsmith, AB; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by one son Wesley in 2008. The funeral will be held Friday, July 22, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at the Church of God in Christ Mennonite, Rosenort, MB, with interment at the church cemetery. Viewing will be at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Dr. Steinbach, MB, on Thursday, July 21, at 7:00 p.m. and at the church prior to the service.
